Dreamy Cream silk satin comes together to create a Couture 40's Wedding Gown with a high waist that is gathered with a design reminiscent to Marie Antoinette. The netting decollete allows the sleeves to have a cold shoulder style and vintage sex appeal. The bodice has pleats creating a shelf bust effect at the V front featuring floral and leaf appliques made from silk velvet...the centers of the flowers have hand beaded pearls... so sweet! There are larger silk velvet floral appliques that continue in a repeated pattern featured on the skirt and train. The skirt has a stunning scalloped design hem finish that flows from the front to the back train...so feminine and sophisticated! The banded waist has a V at the top and bottom creating an even smaller waist illusion. Fabulous and rare 1940's original Priscilla of Boston couture fashion...perfect for a vintage themed wedding!
